「劍，匕首，還是錘子？你選擇的武器會影響你的戰鬥風格。我比較喜歡劍。匕首的射程太短，會使我距離怪物太近，令我感到很不舒服。錘子則會讓我的攻擊速度慢下來。」

馬龍是星露谷里一位遠近聞名的怪物獵人，同時他還是探險家公會的會長。馬龍在玩家來到星露谷前 25 年，建立了這個工會。

馬龍的警惕性很高，因此他並不善於社交。在經營公會的漫長歲月里，馬龍經歷了無數次的生死離別，有些人帶著未竟的誓言消逝於迷霧，有些人則化作星辰永遠守望這片他們曾並肩戰鬥的土地。他認為自己干的是吃力不討好的差事，但他卻仍然在這一事業中一直奉獻自己。雖然他自認為不被他人賞識，但他在鵜鶘鎮以外的其他公會卻十分出名。

在有限的空閒時間裡，馬龍至少寫了兩本書。從他的對話中我們可以得知，他偶爾也夢想過退休，把飼養史萊姆作為一種愛好。他與吉爾和馬格努斯·拉斯莫迪斯有著深厚的友誼，他還備受城堡村探險家們的尊重。

日程表

馬龍的日程非常簡單，在玩家加入探險家公會之前，馬龍一整天都會待在探險家公會裡。在玩家加入之後，馬龍會在探險家公會營業時段待在公會內，非營業時段則會在探險家山峰上活動。一般情況下，總能在探險家山峰附近找到馬龍。

送禮

玩家每周可向馬龍贈送兩份禮物，生日當天可以在這個基礎上額外多贈送一份，禮物會影響他對你的好感度。

在對方生日當天（冬季 19日）送出禮物，好感度有八倍加成，並且能夠觸發獨特的對話。

收到最愛、喜歡或者普通的禮物，馬龍會說

「啊，今天我該過生日了。謝謝你這份貼心的禮物。」

收到不喜歡或者討厭的禮物，馬龍會說

「……」

Adventurer's Guild Initiation

Description: Expectations	Upon entering the Adventurer's Guild, Marlon declares that the player has proven themselves. He asks the player if they want to join the Adventurer's Guild, and then leads them in an oath. He names the player as the 23rd Adventurer's Guild member, and then says the player can buy weapons and complete bounties. He welcomes the player to the guild and says he expects great things from them.

Description: Krobus Intro	Marlon tells the player that they have proven their worth and that it's time they met Krobus, a shadow person living in the Pelican Town sewers. Krobus is under the protection of the Guild, kept hidden from both the town and the Order of the Knights of Pythagoras. Unlike other shadow people, Krobus can speak the human language but since humans are hostile towards shadow people, Krobus has to remain hidden from them. After the introduction, Marlon gives the key to the sewers to the player, which now allows them to visit Krobus whenever they want.

He tells the player about his first time getting a galaxy weapon. He finishes by saying that they can now purchase Galaxy Hammer and Galaxy Dagger from the guild's hidden supply.

Void Shard Event

Description: A New Threat	As soon as the player enters the guild hall, Marlon notices the void energy coming from the Void Shard in the player's inventory. Upon hearing where it came from, Marlon takes you to the wizard's house to inform him of the news. Magnus Rasmodius notices the energy as well and Marlon explains what they player told him of its finding. The wizard asks the shard be placed in his hex to divine where it came from. The shard is destroyed in the process, but Magnus has time to learn the shard was made by someone, and it's purpose is to intentionally corrupt monsters with void energy. The wizard leaves immediately to notify the Ferngill Republic Ministry of Magic. Magnus promises to give you credit for the discovery, but he is later unable to tell you of his meeting.

Description: Arriving in the Highlands	Marlon says that Lance told him, that Lance has an outpost in the highlands and believes that his boat could make the trip safely. Before Marlon and the Farmer can make the trip though, Marlon would like to receive the following monster parts: 50 虛空精華; 40 太陽精華; 30 史萊姆泥; 25 蝙蝠翅膀; 20 Bug Meat.. The day after the last item is delivered, Marlon visits the farm and tells the Farmer to come back to the guild hall. Once at the guild hall, a cutscene will trigger, that takes the farmer to the highlands for the first time.

Description: Meetings	The player runs into Marlon, who is visiting the graveyard. He is paying his respect to fallen comrades. He compliments the player on their success in culling the monster threat in the mines. Marlon then invites the player to join guild meetings between him and the wizard. The player can either humbly decline the invite, or graciously accept, at which point Marlon says he will inform the player of the next meeting.
